Understanding your bill

At TELUS, we're committed to ensuring that our bills are accurate, timely, and easy to understand. To that end, we have implemented a program to upgrade our billing and Client Care systems. At part of this upgrade, you will see some changes to the appearance of your bill.

  2. Any payments you've made will appear here.
  3. Charges are summarized by product.
    TELUS bills one month in advance for recurring charges such as Home phone, Internet and TELUS TV. If charges start or end outside of the regular billing cycle, you will see a partial month's billing.
  4. This is your total due.
  5. Payment is due by the date shown on the invoice. Late payment charges apply if not paid in full by due date listed.

  1. Account fees such as connection charges, and account credits such as interest adjustments, appear in the Other charges and credits section.
  2. Recurring monthly charges appear in the Monthly and Other Charges section. One time charges like Long Distance usage appear in the Long Distance and Usage Charges section.
  3. Local governments incur the cost of 911 service and recover costs through a monthly 911 charge on residential telephone bills.
  4. The Home phone product Usage section is summarized in an easy-to-read table, that displays long distance usage and any one-time Home Phone charges.
